Glen Welch - "Mr. Bubbling Over"
Glen's music ministry began in 1993.  After practicing, (and almost wearing out a sound
track), he sang "Because He Lives" at his home church.  He then began singing specials on
a regular basis.  Later while attending a revival with friends, he was asked to sing a special.
He then conducted music at a revival in a local church.  Glen then became a regular at a 
local Gospel Jubilee.  He was also a regular guest on a local live Gospel Television
Program in 1994 & 1995.  Several nights each week, he would sing and answer
prayer line telephones.

While at the television station, the crew would ask, "How are you?" Glen would always respond,
"I'm just bubbling over".  Glen, therefore, aquired the name "Mr. Bubbling
Over".  He wrote and recorded a song, "Bubbling Over For Jesus".  Many local people still
call Glen and Rita, "Mr. & Mrs. Bubbling Over".

Glen is very active in his home church, Cedar Grove Baptist Church, a country church
near Greenville, Texas.  He is presently serving as deacon, treasurer, and music director.
Rita, Glen's wife is also active in the church and supports Glen's ministry in every way.
Rita keeps up with his bookings, keeps him informed on where they need to be and when,
and tries to keep him out of trouble.  Rita never complains about being on the go all the time.

Glen retired from E-Systems, Inc., in 1993 after 30 years of service, and now he is employed full
time by our Lord and Saviour.  The Lord's work is very rewarding.  The fringe benefits are 
great and the retirement plan is outstanding!!

Glen specializes in resitations, some of which he writes.  One of his resitations has been the
number one requested song for several months on a local gospel radio program.

Glen is an active member and artist with Church Evangelisitic Services and the Fellowship 
Of Christian Music.  He sings southern gospel anywhere God leads him, gospel jubilees,
churches, dinner theaters, gospel oprys, rest homes, conventions, revivals, prisons, retreats,
outdoor theaters, parking lots, fund raisers, and etc..

Glen and Rita love gospel music and are so happy that God called them into the music
ministry.

The live a few miles south of Greenville, Texas where they enjoy their children and
grandchildren in their lesiure time.

God has richly belssed Glen and Rita.  The truly love our Lord and Savior and Give Him
all of the credit.
