Cedar Grove Baptist Church celebrated it's 100th anniversary in July
of 1996.
On July 5, 1896, this Church was organized. The Presbytery was formed, the Articles of Faith and
the Church Covenant were read and adopted by the church, and twelve bretheren and sisters handed their
letters. After the Articles of the Church had been set forth, and the charge delivered, prayer was offered,
and the organized group was therefore declared a Baptist Church ready to work.
Thus it became a working, loving, caring, friendly, and growing church and so it remains today.
